Adjustability - comfort and assistance
K•Care products are designed for maximum comfort and assistance. We have provided push button style adjustable legs on most of the range. This feature enables users to alter not only the height but also the seat angle to suit their personal needs. A chair set relatively high with an angled seat is easier to raise from and to lower on to.
As a further refinement to our shower and bathroom height adjustable frames, one of the legs features a multi-hole adjustment which facilitates a minimal setting to compensate for uneven floors.
These popular features are incorporated throughout K•Care's product lines and make them universally compatible in almost all situations.
Durability - Zinc Treatment with 5 year warranty
K•Care uses appropriate material which is economic and durable in each situation. Rust, urine and chemical cleaners are the worst enemies a user faces in maintaining and protecting the product.
On such susceptible items K•Care plates the outer frames with zinc before applying an epoxy powder which is baked to a hard long-lasting finish. The zinc treatment increases the product life substantially and is available as a standard or option in K•Care's Shower, Bath and Toilet range of products. K•Care warrants its Zinc treatment for a period of 5 years against surface corrosion.
Usage guidelines for chairs
To ensure long lasting and trouble free usage of our chair products we recommend the following usage guidelines:
- all four legs must be level on the floor
- heavy, uneven weight distribution may cause stress to the frame and may eventually result in damage to the chair
- the weight capacity of the chair may be reduced if the user applies their weight unevenly or forcefully, or positions the chair unevenly.
